You should begin with finding the proper shape for your costume. The easiest way to do this is with a fat suit. Though, fat suits are rather expensive. Another choice is to stuff a leotard with cotton, but then you may look lumpy. A final option is to create a structure to hold out the costume in the proper shape.
After this you need to think about which type of shoes you'll be wearing. Generally, wrestlers compete with no shoes. You likely do not wish to go out in no shoes. After this, you will have to begin thinking about how you will wear your hair. Many sumo wrestlers have long black hair and wear it in a ponytail or a high bun. If you do not have much hair, then simply get a black wig. If you do have long, dark, hair, simply wear it in a lower ponytail or a high bun.
