My favorite is planning her wedding day for the end of June. I made the decision to give a wedding shower for her at our home. Her favorite flowers have always been daisies & carnations. When I got back to my house from the farmers market I cut the size the daisies and carnations to different lengths & made arrangements in 3 crystal vases to place around the home. I had enough flowers left to do a little arrangement for the bathrooms. It is always a nice touch to place fresh flowers in the bath-room when you're entertaining. When you do your own arrangements you can utilize your own vases, which adds to the personal touch.
The morning of the bridal shower I checked the flowers to see if they required more water. They were still appearing fresh and the bright colors of the flowers gave the rooms feels warm & homey.
My niece appreciated the lovely & generous gifts that the guests had brought. & she hadn't even seen the wholesale wedding favors I bought yet! We visited & gave pieces of advice to the bride about having a long & happy marriage. I had framed some pics that I had gotten from the mom of the bride & mom of the groom.
